Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I am raising funds for Joyce Koyenum Adaeze's urgent treatment for ameloblastoma — a rare and aggressive tumour of the lower jaw.
I came across Joyce's videos online and was deeply moved by her situation. So many people who saw her story wanted to help, but needed a safer way to send support from abroad. That's why this campaign exists.
Joyce previously underwent surgery, but the condition has returned — and this time it's more advanced. She urgently needs specialist medical treatment to remove the tumour and prevent further progression. Her care will involve major surgery and any additional treatment her medical team deems necessary.
Right now, Joyce cannot work. The tumour has caused significant facial disfigurement, impacting every part of her daily life. To fund her first surgery, she had to sell almost everything she owned. She has nothing left to sell — only hope that strangers will care.
Every dollar raised goes directly toward her surgery, specialist medical care and follow-up, transportation to hospital appointments, and essential living expenses during treatment and recovery. Medical documentation and updates will be shared throughout the process.
